The Mystery Machine Comes to Life: Our 2025 ID. Buzz Wrap Project
At Ed Carroll Volkswagen, we love bringing creativity, community, and Volkswagen innovation together. Our latest project is the perfect combination of them all, and a fan favorite. This October, our team, with the help of SpeedPro transformed a 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz into a full-scale tribute to one of the most iconic vehicles in pop-culture history: The Mystery Machine.
This two tone Buzz in Energetic Orange is wrapped in vibrant teal and green graphics inspired by the classic Scooby-Doo design. We have so enjoyed sharing this special ID. Buzz with the community and have enjoyed seeing heads turn all over Northern Colorado.
Why the 2025 ID. Buzz Makes the Perfect Mystery Machine
The 2025 ID. Buzz, a modern reinvention of the beloved VW Microbus, combines electric performance with comfort, space, and unmistakable retro styling. Its bold design lines and nostalgic charm made it the ideal canvas for our Mystery Machine wrap.

Community Events: Treats, Photos, and Scooby-Doo Fun
Our Mystery Machine-inspired ID. Buzz debuted at several local Trunk-or-Treat community events in October. This included the Truck-Or-Treat at the Holiday Twin Drive-In where kiddos and parents of all ages enjoyed stopping by for candy, conversation, and photo ops!
Families, some even dressed up as Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred stopped by around Halloween to snap pictures with the van. Seeing kids’ faces light up and adults reliving a piece of there childhood has made this a wonderful treat for all of us here at the dealership.

COMING SOON: Mystery Machine Hide-and-Seek Challenge
The fun doesn’t stop here!
This winter, we’re launching a Mystery Machine Hide-and-Seek Activity throughout Fort Collins and Loveland. The special-edition ID. Buzz will be parked in different (but always safe and accessible) public locations and we invite YOU to join the hunt.
Here’s how to participate:
• Find the Mystery Machine ID. Buzz out in the community
• Take a picture with it
• Upload your photo to Facebook or Instagram and tag @edcarrollmotorco
That’s it! Every photo posted with a tag will be entered into our prize drawing.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, so keep your eyes open.
